Gettting Mental

September 18, 2009 at 8:15 pm Leave a comment

A race is a challenge of two types of abilities: physical and mental. I’m struggling a little with preparing for the physical so I am going to focus on what I can- the mental. So here’s some of the things I plan to do in the upcoming week or so before the big day:

– prepare race day checklist

– plan my transition site

-make sure my bike is adjusted right

-figure out if I want any padding in my shoes

-test out some race day breakfasts!
