Dazzle Dash-ing

My family is definitely not the mom-dad-2.5 kids-and-a-dog-type family.  We have so many branches due to marriages, re-marriages, step-families, cousins, kids, adoptions, etc and so on, that it’s near impossible for everyone to make it to any given holiday. So we arrange at will. This past weekend I went home to celebrate Thanksgiving with my side of the family.  Plenty of turkey, stuffing, taters, and pies included!

Yesterday we went to one of those big drive-thru light things, the  Symphony of Lights. Except we didn’t drive! The 1st weekend the display opens each year, they hold a race and a family fun walk through the 1.4 mile lighted course.  So we bundled up and burned off a bite or two of turkey:
