Well I think the birthday boy had a good time last night, so mission accomplished.
We entertained ourselves playing some shuffleboard. I love this game.
The flash lit up all the silicone like crazy. Normally you can’t even see it’s there.
Me & the husband, some of the boys, and me & my friend Katie.
Breakfast
I’m fueling up for my longest run yet with a big bowl of banana oats.
My regular oat combo, toasted in coconut oil.
Plus sliced naners. Now you see them..
Now you don’t!
And a huge heaping pile of cottage cheese, and a mix of almond butter and peanut butter. I heard someone at the race last weekend say “What is it about peanut butter and running that just go together?!” It made me laugh because it’s so true.
Finished off with a sprinkling of coconut.
Plus a good cup of coffee.
Perfect pre-run breakfast. Heck, perfect anyday breakfast 🙂
I’m psyching myself up by singing that way old Dixie Chicks song. Ready to Run….
I see the sun shining and hear the birds chirping…I’m ready! (Well, as soon as I get off work…)

Kind of- I mash them up enough so I can’t see any chunks 🙂 I’m the exact opposite of you – I don’t want any slices left at all…I’m weird about texture combos haha

i eat oatmeal every day but it’s just too much food before a long run. but…the whole way home from my long run today i was looking forward to a huge bowl of oats. they didn’t disappoint.
